Airblue Crash

Wednesday 28th July 2010

9:00 AM

i woke up late, rushed towards the car to drive uni. got a bit more late cuz of rain while on my way i saw a plane heading towards Islamabad’s residential area.

9:35 AM

enter the uni campus and was running towards the lecture room, just before entering i saw the same plane in landing gear heading towards margallah hills, for a moment i thought hey is he mad or what..

9:50 AM

got an sms from a friend saying plane crash in Islamabad please pray i fear my cousin was on this flight !!!, but later she was confirmed of her cousin not on board !!

later the day..no one survives, the next day it rained as if its the last day on earth to rain in Islamabad

then on Friday 30th July 2010 i went to see the crash area along with my friends Basit and Atif

from the roads which goes up to Daman-e-Koh

after a long 1 hour hike you reach to this place and from there you had to climb up the hill without any track or trail

a closer view of the crash site

another view of the crash site

got no words to describe this…

a view from the crash site

there are many other photographs that i cant share with you all :( the thing which really broke my heart was the smell of burnt flesh, blood spatters over the stones and heavy aircraft fuel spread all over..

May Allah save the whole Muslim Ummah From such disaster in future Amen

Professor Ahmed Rafique in my Town

As of today 25th July 2010 i had a dream come true of meeting Professor Ahmed Rafiq AKhter :) who was colleague of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif as well in Lahore

for me it was an awesome experience while attending his lecture live for the first time ever in my life :) i am very much great-full to my friend at NICS “Adnan” who led me to him for a more personalized meeting later on :)
i asked him some questions and a few exchange of words, i still cant believe that this episode has actually taken place :D

later on i took his autograph on one of his book which will remain a precious thing for me for my life inshallah :)

in the end i would like to quote his beautiful words that he said during his lecture regarding death and grave

Grave is the gateway to Galaxies

Singhori

Yesterday i had this great chance to see and hold Pakistan first ever Nishaan-e-Haider at Sawar Muhammad Shaheed’s House, where his son greeted us and tell us his amazing stories of how he embraced shahdaat

all this began when our team (Payaam) went to Singhori for our Free Medical Camp. after the camp we all decided to pay a visit to Shaheeds memorable built by the army and there we found his son who himself is a devish too ;)

for me it was one amazing life time experience that i may never be able to have without payaam team :)
