Professor Ahmed Rafique in my Town
As of today 25th July 2010 i had a dream come true of meeting Professor Ahmed Rafiq AKhter
who was colleague of Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif as well in Lahore

for me it was an awesome experience while attending his lecture live for the first time ever in my life
i am very much great-full to my friend at NICS “Adnan” who led me to him for a more personalized meeting later on ![]()
i asked him some questions and a few exchange of words, i still cant believe that this episode has actually taken place ![]()

later on i took his autograph on one of his book which will remain a precious thing for me for my life inshallah ![]()

in the end i would like to quote his beautiful words that he said during his lecture regarding death and grave
Grave is the gateway to Galaxies
Singhori
Yesterday i had this great chance to see and hold Pakistan first ever Nishaan-e-Haider at Sawar Muhammad Shaheed’s House, where his son greeted us and tell us his amazing stories of how he embraced shahdaat
all this began when our team (Payaam) went to Singhori for our Free Medical Camp. after the camp we all decided to pay a visit to Shaheeds memorable built by the army and there we found his son who himself is a devish too
for me it was one amazing life time experience that i may never be able to have without payaam team

Prayer
The human being is ever carving for company in this seven colored world. O Lord ! where is a companion for the soul? Let this world descend from my sight, the way sun and moon descend beneath the horizon, let a day appear before me that does not belong to the passing time.
O Lord ! You are my beloved. Your face is my faith and my Quran. Let me see it, for the sun doesnt lose anything by giving out its rays. A passionate soul like mine is not to be found in this age when people are held back by reason. So light up the darkness of my heart with your light like a moon.
O Lord ! we yearn to see you but cannot see. Take away our blindness, speak to us and take us beyond the world of today and tomorrow! take us beyond the world of the moon and stars.
O Lord ! i am a mortal and my light is like a short lived spark before your everlasting illumination. Make me imortal and grant me the strength to tread upon the path that you have laid open before me.
Make my book easy for the youth to understand, for I am going to tell of another world. (Allama Iqbal, excerpt from Javiad Nama)
- what a beautiful piece of writing.
yes friends you guessed it right !! , i am going to start writing again
the above lines gave me great source of inspiration to come back to what i used to do before, writing has always been a great way of experessing my inner self and illuminating the light of my soul
thank you Dear Iqbal
i wish to see my self as your Shaheen Inshallah
